My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This was a nice quick read, with a good selection of ghost stories ranging from accountants in London, to WWII soldiers. A few of the tales were a little predictable, perhaps, but that didn’t stop me from enjoying them anyway. What I did like about this book, however, was the fact that all but one of the tales were written by winners of a magazine competition. (the only exception was a tale by M.R. James). I thought that this was nice, and is a good chance for ‘unknown’ authors to get their voice out there! \m/ *_* \m/
This will be yet another book that I will enjoy again in the future, as I do like ghost stories if they’re told well!
